Earthen walls Reinforced for Epheson/Ataye Mehal Meda road.

Unimpresa SPA Branch has built the first reinforced earthen sloped walls in Ethiopia, part of a new 60-km road between Ataye and Mehal Meda in the Ahmara region. This project, which lasted 27 months with an investment of more than 1 million euros, introduced an innovative technique for stable embankments with slopes of up to 75°. Nine plots were completed in steep slope areas, solving technical challenges inaccessible by traditional methods. The technology has been praised by ERA and could be replicated in other projects.

Widening of the road Naples Pompeii-Salerno

Work on the widening of the A3 Naples-Pompeii-Salerno freeway, financed by ANAS and contracted out by the Società Autostrade Meridionali, involved the addition of the third lane, the upgrading of the Scafati and Castellammare interchanges, and the creation of new traffic circles to improve traffic flow. Archaeological and environmental interventions, such as the protection of century-old pine trees and the recovery of artifacts, characterized the project, which also included urgent adjustments for Pope John Paul II's visit to Pompeii.
