Enrico Rainone

GENERAL MANAGER

Who is Enrico Rainone

Enrico Rainone is a surveyor with more than 40 years of experience in the field of large public works, acquired from a very young age on the construction sites of the family business, where he began working when he was only 17 years old. Thanks to this direct experience in the field, he has developed an in-depth knowledge of construction techniques and processes related to bitumen and asphalt mixes.

His career has been characterized by continuous involvement in major projects, both in Italy and abroad. In the early 1990s, the family business carried out major works in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Latin America, and Enrico gained solid experience in handling international contracts.+

For ten years, he headed SOCOB, a company specializing in the production of asphalt mixes, where he consolidated his expertise in this field. During this time, he collaborated with some of Italy's leading companies in the construction of major road and highway infrastructure, and worked closely with clients such as ANAS and Autostrade Meridionali, contributing to numerous complex projects such as the construction of viaducts, roads, and the rehabilitation of sections of arterial roads.

What did

In 2002, he took over as head of CO.GE.R., a company that acquired SOCOB's public works business unit. Under his leadership, CO.GE.R. completed strategic projects such as the Marcianise Interport and the Campania Commercial Park, also expanding the external road system and improving connections between shopping centers, highways and neighboring cities. In addition to managing major road works, Enrico Rainone has overseen the construction of hydraulic systems and infrastructure works that have had a significant impact on local communities. In 2010, he founded Unimpresa S.p.A., a company that inherited and expanded the know-how he had acquired over the years and began carrying out major works in Africa. In 2017, Unimpresa won an international contract to rehabilitate the New Runway at Bole Airport in Ethiopia, a project that marked the beginning of the company's expansion into the African continent. The success of these projects further strengthened Unimpresa's position as it went on to receive new commissions from Ethiopian Airways and Ethiopian government agencies, solidifying its ties with the African market.

Enrico Rainone's experience ranges from operations management to strategy, with a focus on quality, safety and efficiency in the implementation of complex works. With his experience and network of relationships built over more than three decades, he has been instrumental in Unimpresa's success and expansion, especially in international markets.
