Iteja-Robe Seru Road Construction Project

From May 2022 to April 2025, Unimpresa Branch is carrying out the second batch of work on the construction of a 68-kilometer road connecting Iteja, Robe, and Seru, with a total investment of about 42 million euros. The project aims to create a modern and safe road network, improving connections for trade and stimulating the local economy through more efficient and safer mobility.

Impacts on Economic and Tourism Development

The infrastructure is strategic to support Ethiopia's tourism sector by facilitating access to major sites of interest. It will also improve access to mineral deposits, supporting the growth of the mining and quarrying sectors. As a result of these interventions, a significant boost to the national economy is expected, benefiting both domestic trade and exports.
